During this global pandemic, everyone has been touched in different ways and at different levels by this health crisis.
Our first thoughts are of you. We hope that in this crisis without precedent, that you have been the least impacted possible, for your health but also for your jobs, work and your family life.
Here at Matsuzaka, our efforts have been to define new ways of working for health, operational and cleaning practises to allow us to guarantee your safety and security during your stay with us. This has been done with advice and recommendations from our professional branches and also government guidelines.
We would also ask that you work with us to follow our new protocols in order to protect everybody that depends on our activity (hotel staff, our external partners, cleaners, suppliers, etc..)
Regarding the regulations in place and the health passport (COVID pass): Firstly all our team are fully vaccinated as is required under French law. Also on entry to the hotel we will be checking the passes of our guests for entry to the restaurant area and the spa area according to the regulations in place at the time of your stay (see below latest regulations).

Info hotel industry (France) 08/2021:
The law of the 1st June 2021 requires that the health passport (COVID pass) is applicable to activities of restauration and drinks services of hotels except for room service and take away of prepared food.
Concerning breakfasts: The checking of health passports is not an obligation for breakfast service in hotels (including hotel-restaurants). However, this exception is only applicable to hotels where breakfast service is for internal guests only. If the hotel welcomes outside guests at the same time, all guests (internal and external) must present a pass.
Concerning swimming pools / spas: The law of the 1st June 2021 stipulates that the COVID pass is required for «Sporting establishments, relevant to type X, where access will require checks». Therefore swimming pools and spas are included by this measure (even when the swimming pools and spas are only used by internal guests).
